The collection is inspired by French photographic artists Gilbert Garcin; his quote particularly encapsulates the collection: "Until the end there is plenty of time for a new beginning, a new future".
The cages of light seen at the presentation (see in the photo above) encapsulate the themes of restriction, release and new beginnings, partly inspired by Garcin but also through the strength of the HEMYCA woman, pictured and illustrated through the use of the HEYMCA film, played throughout the duration of the presentation.
A still from the HEMYCA film can be seen behind Nina, who was also the model used within the film.
^This dress was my favourite^
The two images above were taken after the presentation had finished and everyone was a bit more relaxed and happy.
The last image is a candid shot of the two leading women behind HEYMCA, Helen and Myra. They both were so kind and accommodating towards me, and of course, as were the whole of the HEMYCA team too.
I loved every moment of my time in London during Fashion Week and cannot wait until I embark on my next adventure within the Industry I hope to delve into.
Thank you so much HEMYCA!
I very much hope to see you again soon :]
Much love

Ps. I added this later as I can't let this song escape... SO GOOD! Seeing them soon in Cardiff so hopefully they will do their cover whilst I am there.
